A Board Certified Physician has completed an approved residency program, written and oral examinations. A Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist has successfully completed an additional 2 or 3 year fellowship in reproductive medicine, passed written and oral exams and published and defended a thesis based on his or her own research.
