Three-cycle program can nearly double the chance for success while lowering the overall cost to bring home a baby

SARATOGA, Calif., Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — ARC Fertility® (www.arcfertility.com) today announced its new program designed to maximize the chances for having a baby as a result of in vitro fertilization, without increasing the financial burden of a multi-cycle IVF treatment program. The ARC® Success Program [https://www.arcfertility.com/arc-treatment-packages/the-arc-success-program] provides multi-cycle packages with a rebate to the patient upon the birth of a baby. Roughly 48 percent of patients undergoing a single cycle of IVF treatment have a baby, but that success rate grows to 83 percent for patients undergoing three cycles of treatment.

“We know that for women seeking to become pregnant through IVF treatment the two biggest concerns are whether the procedure will result in a live birth and how much it will cost,” said Dr. David Adamson, CEO of ARC Fertility. “Our new ARC Success Program can help relieve those concerns by substantially increasing the opportunity for success through multiple cycles of treatment while containing the overall cost. We are excited to offer this innovative program to our ARC member clinics and their IVF patients.”

Through the ARC Success Program, patients can purchase three cycles of treatment for a discounted cost – significantly less than the cost of purchasing each cycle individually. If the patient achieves a successful pregnancy after the first or second cycle of treatment, ARC will provide a refund for the unused treatments. The three-cycle package covers up to three retrievals of eggs and up to six embryo transfers.

“As with any medical procedure, fertility specialists want to ensure their IVF patients have the greatest opportunity to achieve a successful outcome while keeping the cost of treatment from becoming prohibitive,” said Dr. Dan Gehlbach from Midwest Reproductive Center in Kansas. “We believe that ARC’s new Success Program provides a great solution for balancing those two considerations, creating an effective path to achieving both goals for women seeking to have a baby through IVF treatment.”
