Every year, New York City hosts fertility leaders from around the world for the Night of Hope Gala. Sponsored by RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, this event honors contributions to the fields of family forming and infertility treatment. The 2022 Night of Hope Gala took place on November 14 and honored the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) with the Hope for Advocacy Award. Dr. Paula Amato, leader of AMWA, received the Risa A. Levine RESOLVE Advocacy Legacy Award. ARC Fertility congratulates AMWA on having its many contributions recognized, and is proud to be AMWA’s new partner in providing its staff with comprehensive fertility benefits.
AMWA was founded in 1915, making it the oldest multispecialty organization dedicated to improving women’s health and supporting women in medical fields. With members including physicians, residents, trainees, various healthcare professionals, and donors, AMWA advocates for equality and ensures excellence in healthcare while supporting the inclusion and success of women in medical and health-related fields.
“We have been thankful for the support of RESOLVE and ARC Fertility in our work,” says AMWA Executive Director Eliza Chin, MD, MPH, “Our goal is that access to programs, resources, and benefits coverage be available to any physician and trainee who seeks it.
