Dr. Mitchell Rosen received his medical training at Saint Louis University, and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology, at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed his clinical training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of California San Francisco. To further understand the IVF process, Dr. Rosen has also had dedicated time to training as an embryologist. Having an understanding of both the clinical and laboratory aspects of assisted reproduction has allowed him to focus both his clinical work and research endeavors on optimiz ation of ovarian stimulation protocols to improve egg quality and outcome. Dr. Rosen also consults with patient having reproductive endocrinology problems and performs reconstructive surgery. His additional area of interest for research is causes and understanding of premature ovarian failure.
