Dr. Scot Hutchison was raised in Arizona and graduated in 1984 from the University of Arizona with a degree in biology. He continued his education by attending medical school at the University of Kansas and obtained his MD in 1988. Following medical school, he did his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at the University of Kansas. He completed his training in 1992. During his time as a resident physician, he became interested in infertility medicine and decided to continue his studies and apply for fellowships in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland became his home for the next three years of study in this field. Dr. Hutchison completed his fellowship in 1994 and became the co-director of Assisted Reproductive Technologies at Johns Hopkins. He served in this capacity until returning to Arizona to begin a private practice in REI in Tucson.
