
Marsha Jan Gorrill, M.D. , attended the University of
Miami Medical School and
completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University
of
Wisconsin. She completed her fellowship
in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harbor-UCLA Medical
Center. Her first faculty position was
at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago.
She joined the faculty at the Oregon Health Sciences
University in 1992.
She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics
and
Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and
is
presently the Medical Director of OHSU Fertility Consultants and
Director of
the In Vitro Fertilization Program. Dr. Gorrill's special interest is
in
working with patients considering third-party reproduction and in egg
banking. She is establishing a clinical program to help
cancer
survivors restore their fertility status. She is also investigating, in
collaboration with the Cancer Care Center at the Oregon Health &
Science
University, the effects of Gleevec® (imatinib mesylate) on
fertility potential.
