Born in California and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Schenk has practiced in Houston, Texas since 1998. She received her undergraduate training at the University of Denver and her medical degree from the University of Iowa in 1990. After completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Ohio, she furthered her training with a three-year fellowship at the prestigious Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia. She remained at the Jones Institute as an assistant professor until relocating to Houston in 1998 to join Obstetrical and Gynecological associates in the private practice of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is active in several professional organizations and in community service.

With a patient-friendly approach, Dr. Schenk specializes in the treatment of infertility, IVF, and oocyte donation. She has advanced training in hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, and infertility surgery. She also has special interests in treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome, premature ovarian failure, reproductive developmental abnormalities, and recurrent pregnancy loss. It is Dr. Schenk’s highest priority to provide individualized, compassionate, and expert care to help couples achieve their goals of creating families.
