Mary E. Abusief, MD, FACOG. Dr. Abusief received her medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Ob/Gyn at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Abusief is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Board Eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Abusief's academic honors include being named Resident of the Year at Washington University School of Medicine. She also won an Excellence in Teaching Award and received an Expanding the Boundaries Research Grant from Harvard Medical School's department of Ob/Gyn and Reproductive Sciences. Her recent research, centered on menstrual functioning and fertility in women treated with chemotherapy, received First Prize at the 2006 New England Fertility Society Annual Meeting. Dr. Abusief is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology.
