Dr. Kim L. Thornton received her M.D. from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Following a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Thornton completed a fellowship in Reproductive endocrinology and Infertility at Yale University.
She formerly served as the Associate director of In Vitro Fertilization and the Director of the Anonymous Egg Donor program at the University of Connecticut Health Center where she practiced for over seven years.
In addition to academic appointments at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Thornton is also an active author and lecturer. She has conducted research for various pharmaceutical companies and is a consultant on the FDA Device Panel.
