Dr. Alan S. Penzias received his M.D. from the State University of New York - Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY completed a residency in OB/GYN at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Yale University, New Haven, CT. Dr. Penzias was an instructor at Yale University School of Medicine and previously was the Director of the In Vitro Fertilization Program at Boston's Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr. Penzias has been awarded numerous citations for excellence in teaching and currently is an Assistant Professor of OB/GYN and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School.
