Dr. Alison Zimon is originally from Massachusetts and received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College and her medical degree from Yale University's School of Medicine. After her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, she continued her training in Boston and completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School and Boston IVF.
Dr. Zimon has a strong interest in promoting reproductive health education and optimizing access to fertility services for all patients. She has focused her research on understanding the mechanisms of aging in the ovary and determining how age and specific medical conditions affect ovarian function. She enjoys teaching and serves as a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School . She actively participates in local and national research meetings and is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the New England Fertility Society and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
Dr. Zimon sees patients in the South Shore and Waltham offices and will be on staff at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Newton Wellesley Hospital, Tobey Hospital and Emerson Hospital. For appointments, call (617)793-1100.
