Dr. Merle J. Berger graduated from Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed a residency in OB/GYN at Mount Sinai Hospital, Cleveland, OH and a research fellowship in OB/GYN at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Berger is currently a Senior OB/GYN at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Dr. Berger has taught at Harvard Medical School since 1970 where he is currently Associate Clinical Professor of OB/GYN and Reproductive Biology.
