Dr. Slowey comes to RMA of NJ from NorthEast Medical Center in North Carolina . Previous to his position in North Carolina, Dr. Slowey served as a physician in the US Navy for 10 years. The last 4 year he served as Director of Reproductive Endocrinology Division at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. He is sub-specialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology, as well as board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. All three of his degrees (BA '80, MS '84, MD '87) are from the University of Tennessee, with his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Naval Hospital, San Diego, CA. Dr. Slowey's fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was completed at the Michael Reese Hospital/ University of Illinois program. DR. Slowey has authored several publications and has lectured extensively. In 1995, he was honored with the National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education from the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
