Dr. Frattarelli, a board certified reproductive endocrinologist, obstetrician and gynecologist, formerly served for six years as the Medical and Practice Director of the Tripler IVF Institute in Honolulu, HI. He completed his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and received his M.D. from the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, followed by a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. While at Tripler, Dr. Frattarelli also served as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and at the University of Hawaii John A.Burns School of Medicine. Dr. Frattarelli is a member of several national women's health societies and committees and an award-winning researcher and lecturer with several national presentations and published manuscripts. His research interests have focused on improving infertility diagnosis and treatment, particularly in the areas of diminished ovarian reserve, infertility surgery, ultrasonography, polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent miscarriages, and endometriosis.
