Dr. William Hurd is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Dr. Hurd received a combined MD-MSc degree with honors from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. After serving on active duty in the US Air Force, he completed his Reproductive Endocrinology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Hurd then served as
the IVF Director at the University of Michigan Medical School and the IVF and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Division Director at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Most recently, he served as the Department Chair and Assistant Dean for Military Affairs at Wright State University School of Medicine. Dr. Hurd came to Cleveland in 2007 after retiring from the USAF Reserve.

Dr. Hurd is the past president of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and is currently the American Society of Reproductive Medicine's Representative to the American College of Surgeons.

He has published over 120 articles and book chapters on assisted reproductive techniques and related topics.

Dr. Hurd's practice emcompasses all areas of reproductive endocrinology with special emphasis on infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, and reproductive surgery.
