Diplomate, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Fellow, American College
of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Active Member, American Society of Reproductive
Medicine, Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology, Society of Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Dunaway is a graduate of Louisiana State University
School of Medicine and completed a Fellowship program in Reproductive Endocrinology
at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. He was the founder and Medical
Director of the Fertility and Laser Center, and decided to enter into a partnership
with The Fertility Institute of New Orleans in 2002.
Over the years, Dr. Dunaway has held the position of Director of Reproductive
Services for Baton Rouge General and Women's Hospital in Baton Rouge, and also
Lakeside Hospital in Metairie. He is the past President of the Orleans Parish
OB/GYN Society. Dr. Dunaway’s interest are varied with emphasis on the
diagnosis and treatment of PCOS, infertility treatment through ART, surgical
and medical management of endometriosis, and the surgical management of uterine
anomalies. Dr. Dunaway distinguished himself by being one of only two individuals
to achieve pregnancies by Direct Oocyte Sperm Transfer (DOST).
