Dr. Peter Uzelac is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Board
Eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He is a Fellow of the
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and, just prior to establishing
the Napa Valley Fertility Center, launched one of the first successful IVM (in
vitro maturation) programs in the United States while completing a three-year
fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of
Louisville.
Dr. Uzelac spent four years practicing high-risk obstetrics with the University
of Southern California Perinatal Group where he developed a concern for how disease
states of early pregnancy can have a lasting impact upon offspring. He now brings
this one-of-a-kind perspective and unusually holistic approach to caring for
his patients in reproductive medicine.
Dr. Uzelac’s has published a numerous amount of original research, book
chapters and books. The Pacific Coast Reproductive Society recently awarded him
for his innovative work in the field of fertility preservation. Dr. Uzelac’s
memberships include the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Society
for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
