Victoria Maclin, MD, FACOG
Reproductive Endocrinologist
Dr. Maclin is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and medical director of the Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine,
PC. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University.
She subsequently completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship
in reproductive endocrinology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center
in Chicago. Dr. Maclin was an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology
at Rush Medical College until 1993, when she was recruited to University of Nebraska
Medical Center.
Dr. Maclin has collaborated on several research projects through UNMC and
has co-authored many articles for publication. She has also written several textbook
chapters and co-edited the textbook Myomectomy. Dr. Maclin has lectured throughout
the United States and has served on many professional advisory boards. Until
2000, Dr. Maclin also served as an associate professor and chief of the division
of reproductive endocrinology at UNMC.
After her work at the University, Dr. Maclin decided to concentrate her private
practice on reproductive medicine, co-founding the Heartland Center for Reproductive
Medicine, PC with her partner, Dr. Jacques Ramey. Dr. Maclin continues as an
associate professor at UNMC and supervises OB/GYN resident education in reproductive
endocrinology.
Dr. Maclin's personal activities are centered on her four children. She is
also an avid supporter of the arts.
