For over 30 years, Washington University reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialists have been assisting men and women in starting or expanding their families. More than 2,000 patients are treated annually by Washington University physicians at the Infertility and Reproductive Medicine Center, a joint venture with Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
These experts offer a full line of medical and surgical services
to both diagnose and treat the causes of infertility. This Washington University
program was the first in Missouri to offer In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Today
the IVF program helps hundreds of patients, offering high-tech lab procedures
to maximize the potential to conceive. In addition, the egg donor program offers
hope for women who are unable to achieve a viable pregnancy with their own eggs.
Each physician is either board-certified or board-eligible in the subspecialty
of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, which means they have completed
advanced training in infertility through a multi-year fellowship program. And
as Washington University physicians, they are participants in a number of nation-wide
clinical studies in which new therapies are used to diagnose and treat a variety
of conditions related to reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Conveniently
located on Forest Park Parkway in the Central West End area, the center provides
patients easy access and free reserved parking, in a comfortable and private
setting.
