Fernando L. Gomez, MD was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
He completed undergraduate studies Cum Laude in Biology/Chemistry at Boston University.
He obtained his medical doctor degree from Tufts University School of Medicine
in Boston, MA. He finished his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Temple
University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Subsequently, he went on to complete
subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility and Genetics
at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) in Augusta, GA. At MCG, he was assistant
professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Gomez is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility
as well as in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Gomez is the only Hispanic board
certified reproductive medicine specialist in Central Florida.
Dr. Gomez is fluent in both English and Spanish.
