Today Show
This year’s NIAW is especially noteworthy due to the fact that the Today Show (NBC-TV) will be airing an eight part special series on infertility, starting Tuesday, September 23 and running through Friday, September 27. The series, "Overcoming Infertility," looks at many aspects of infertility, from the emotional rollercoaster to the financial cost of treatment. Two segments will air per day, including a look at male infertility, low and high tech procedures, and innovative treatment options such as embryo donation.
I am very pleased to report that Advanced Reproductive Care is being featured during this series, specifically to illustrate the financial resources available to patients going through infertility treatment. One of our ARC patients was interviewed, along with myself, and both interviews are scheduled to air on Friday, September 27. ARC has enjoyed significant national media exposure, from The Wall Street Journal to the CBS Early Show and now the Today Show, which helps raise awareness and build patient demand for our services.
Also as part of National Infertility Awareness Week, RESOLVE is also hosting the first-ever online infertility conference, "Trying To Conceive," on September 25 in partnership with WebMD. If you or your patients would like to participate in this free conference, you can register via the following websites: www.resolve.org or www.resolve.webmd.org. RESOLVE chapters are also hosting over 25 educational events across the country during NIAW.
