ARC Founder: G. David Adamson, M. D.

David Adamson, M.D. is a board certified reproductive
endocrinologist and surgeon and Director of Fertility
Physicians of Northern California in Palo Alto and San Jose, California. Dr.
Adamson received his M.D. degree and residency training at the University of
Toronto in Toronto, Canada and his reproductive endocrinology and surgery fellowship
training at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California.
Dr. Adamson is a Clinical Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine
and Associate Clinical Professor at University of California San Francisco School
of Medicine.
He is President-elect of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM)
and Past-president of the AAGL (formerly the American Association of Gynecologic
Laparoscopists), the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, the Pacific
Coast Reproductive Society, Society for Reproductive Surgeons, San Francisco
Gynecological Society, Bay Area Reproductive Endocrinologists Society, and Peninsula
Gynecologic Society.
Dr. Adamson has published over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles, book
chapters, and textbooks, and presented lectures extensively on reproductive medicine
and surgery, endometriosis, the assisted reproductive technologies and infertility.
He also serves on numerous editorial, government and industry advisory boards,
both nationally and internationally, and is frequently consulted by the media.
He served on the Board and Executive of National Resolve, the national consumer
fertility organization, for 10 years. He has been listed in Who’s Who
in America since 1990 and recognized by Good Housekeeping Magazine as one of
the best 400 physicians for women in America. He received the 2006 Outstanding
Achievement in Medicine award from the Santa Clara County Medical Society where
he practices.
In 1997 Dr. Adamson founded Advanced Reproductive Care, Inc., a national
network reproductive medicine company dedicated to increasing the value of medical
care through innovative clinical and financial programs, information technology,
clinical research, and outcomes assessment. He has served as its CEO and Chairman
since that time. The network’s physician members are now in 40 states and currently
provide approximately one-third of the in vitro fertilization services in the
United States.

Dr. María Bustillo
María Bustillo, MD, is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Bustillo
completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a research fellowship
in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Bustillo has been board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology since 1983.
Dr. Bustillo
has held numerous academic appointments throughout her career, including Assistant
Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Harbor-UCLA Medical
Center, Division Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at both
the Genetics and IVF Institute in Virginia, and the Mount Sinai Medical Center
in New York City. Most recently, Dr. Bustillo has been the Medical Director of
the Assisted Reproductive Technology Program at the South Florida Institute for
Reproductive Medicine in Miami.
Dr. Bustillo is a member of numerous professional societies such as the American
Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists,
the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the Society for Gynecologic Investigation.
Dr. Bustillo served as president of the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies
(SART), and the GynecoRadiology Society and is a member of the Editorial Board
of the journal Fertility and Sterility and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction
and Genetics. She is also an ad hoc reviewer for other prestigious peer-reviewed
journals including Human Reproduction, the American Journal of Obstetrics and
Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the American Journal of Reproductive
Immunology.
Dr. Bustillo is widely recognized as a pioneer in ultrasound guided egg
retrieval and uterine lavage for oocyte donation. She has published over
100 articles and abstracts in her areas of expertise which include infertility, assisted
reproductive technologies, implantation failure and recurrent pregnancy loss.
Dr. Bustillo has performed in excess of four thousand assisted reproductive technology
(ART) cycles while advancing the field of ART with the introduction of new concepts
and technologies. She was recently named as one of the 401 Best Doctors for Women
by Good Housekeeping.
In addition to English, Dr. Bustillo, a Cuban-American,
is fluent in Spanish and French.

Michael P. Diamond, M.D.
Michael P. Diamond, M.D., is Associate Chair and Kamran S. Moghissi Professor
of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology
and Infertility at the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University, in
Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Diamond received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry
at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York. He attended Vanderbilt University
Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee, and then completed his residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology at Vanderbilt. Dr. Diamond completed his fellowship in Reproductive
Endocrinology and Infertility at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and
then joined the faculty at Yale, where he rose to the rank of Associate Professor.
He then returned to Vanderbilt as Head of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology
and Infertility, and Director of the Center for Infertility Research. Dr. Diamond
came to Wayne State University in September of 1994 as Director of the Division
of Reproductive Endocrinology and Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. He also serves as Scientific Research Director for the Department.
Dr. Diamond is internationally renowned for his
work in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has published over 225 manuscripts, 105
chapters, 375 abstracts, and has edited over 20 books. Dr. Diamond is currently
co-editor of the Infertility and Reproductive Medicine Clinics of North America.
He serves on the editorial board as a reviewer for numerous journals, and has
served on the Board of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society
of Reproductive Surgeons, International Society of Gynaecologic Endoscopy, and
the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Diamond has also
been Chairperson of numerous national and international symposiums on various
topics, including Intermediary Metabolism, Endoscopic Surgery, and Post-Operative
Adhesion Development. His research activities include studies of the effects
of insulin action on metabolism in non-pregnant and pregnant women, reproductive
surgery, peritoneal healing after injury, postoperative adhesion development,
the relationship between hyperandrogenism and hyperinsulinism, and early embryonic
development.

Richard Adamson
A Canadian Chartered Accountant and graduate of the University of Toronto,
with an Honors B.A. in Commerce and Finance, Richard Adamson has been in business
for 35 years, with experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, owning his own companies,
and lecturing in Accounting and Finance at the university level.
For the past 15 years, Richard has been President & CEO of
Coinamatic Canada Inc., one of Canada’s largest privately owned national
service companies, based in Toronto, Ontario.
Richard is Chairman of the Board of Appliance Canada Limited, Canada’s
largest wholesaler of contract household appliances and Chairman of the Board
of the Advanced Card Technology Association of Canada.

Stevan Berardo COO
Steve Berardo has a broad background in executive management, strategic planning,
management consulting, sales & marketing management, and product development
with a US and international background in professional services and technology
consulting.
His 30 years of professional experience includes over 15 years
in electronic payment systems and he is well known in the financial services
industry. His experience includes: President, SCB & Associates, an
electronic payment systems consulting firm; consultant with QSI Payments Inc.,
an Australian secure payments software company, in which he functioned as President
of North American operations; Executive Vice President, Marketing & Sales,
Vital Processing Services; Vice President & General Manager of VISA USA’s
Merchant Bank Services; and, Vice President & General Manager of McDonnell
Douglas Payment Systems Company, Card Services Division; Director Product Marketing/International
Business Development, Tymnet/Tymshare;
Mr. Berardo received his Bachelor of Science degree from California State
University and his MBA from Santa Clara University.

April Lee, Sr. VP, Practice Development and Operations
Ms. Lee joined ARC in November, 2003. She has 17 years of experience
in the health care field with Orion Information Systems. Ms. Lee was Vice-President
of Sales and responsible for a large national network of sales representatives
prior to joining ARC.

Melissa Look, VP of Client Services
Melissa Look has had many years experience in the business aspects of medical
practice, having been Assistant Practice Manager with Fertility Physicians of
Northern California for 5 years prior to joining Advanced Reproductive Care.
